The first Extraction was a surprise hit for Netflix, and it was clear that fans were eager for a sequel. Extraction 2 finally arrived on June 16, 2023, and it did not disappoint.
The film picks up right where the first one left off, with Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) barely surviving his mission in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is now back in the United States, trying to put his life back together. However, he is soon pulled back into the world of violence when he is offered a chance to rescue the imprisoned son of a ruthless gangster.
